Cleaning the Living Room

Yeesh.

Just a complete and utter mess!
Just a complete and utter mess!

Close up of some of the mess.

Our living room is really like two small rooms next to each other that make one long room.

The other end of the living room.
The other end of the living room.

If you want to make my husband really really mad, all you have to do is throw away one of his boxes. The man always keeps the original boxes that his tools, tv, computer, cymbals, microphones, (whatever) arrived in. I believe he says it’s for storage purposes, but we haven’t really lived anywhere yet with storage capabilities.

Piles of boxes.
Piles of boxes.

How does one clean a pile of boxes? I can’t throw the boxes, but instead I am able to collapse them and fold them out of the way.

Tyler has been using the piles of wood taken out of the old part of the house, but the piles end up out of order, with long, short, fat and skinny pieces thrown anywhere. And tools. Tools fall down in between the wood piles. And nails. Nails are everywhere.

Ah, a nice even pile again.
Ah, a nice even pile again.

This was the longest part of the clean up. But there is a floor AGAIN! HOORAY!
