The Garage Window

We got a great deal on a window for the garage. Consumer’s Lumber had this window….the glass in it was cracked. We were able to purchase said window for just $40 (with the replacement glass) if we replaced the glass ourselves.

So one night, Tyler went about replacing the glass in the window.

A week or so later, on another muddy day, Tyler’s pal (let’s call him Ben…because his name is Ben) came out and helped install the window.

This involved removing the old window-while it was snowing.

My job was to remove the sashes from the old window and the casing from the new window. It only took me about a total of ten minutes to complete my job for the afternoon.

We kept the sashes because they were pretty cool looking.

Framing in the new window.

I'm sorry Tyler, but this pose while you were nailing was off the wall

And actually putting the new window in.

And now, all exterior windows match!
