Building a Wall

A new wall between the kitchen and the addition (where the main floor bathroom will be located) needed to be rebuilt. The previous wall was not quite up to par, the wall from the 1900 build.

Then, we needed a new step (nothing permanent) to help get up into the living room from the porch. The best part about the entryway into the living room? The porch was done unevenly (it was part of the 1967 addition) so that there was an inch difference in height across the doorway. I stuck a shim underneath one side to keep the level step from bobbing about like a table with one short leg.
